
Breaking News! P&O Cruises have announced today they are banning passengers from hiding ducks fleet wide. With immediate effect ducks have been added to their list of prohibited items in order to, ‘reduce the impact on the environment and prevent injury’ according to a P&O spokesperson. The practice of hiding ducks has become increasingly popular amongst cruise passengers often tagging them with a message to keep or hide and asking for a mention on Facebook. A page has even been created specifically for the pastime.

AIDA Cruises has cancelled its entire Orient programme for the winter 2026–2027 season. The decision affects all voyages scheduled for the cruise ship AIDAPrima from October 19th, 2026 and May 20th, 2027 that were originally planned to operate in the Middle East.
The company indicated that the adjustment had been made due to the continuing uncertainty in the region and the difficulty of assessing future security conditions for cruise operations. In its statement, the cruise line emphasized that operational decisions were being guided primarily by the need to ensure the safety of both passengers and crew.
